Treatment Resources now accessible through our App!

Did you know that there is a 43 page document that is a tremendous resource for those faced with a cancer diagnosis as well as their caregivers?  It's called a personal health manager and it can be found on cancer.org.  On ACS Village it is referred to as treatment resources and there are links for it on the front page of the app and website as well as in many groups.

This will be a great resource for all of our constituents to have in the palm of their hand.  I did the following video for my Relay event to give them a quick tour.  If you aren't familiar with this great resource, watch this!

I recently showed one of our colleagues the ACS Village App and one of the last things I always show in my demo is the treatment resources button.  She looked at me in disbelief and said "I was with a loved one last week and we went to their first oncology appointment.  With all of the emotion and stress of the situation, I literally froze when the doctor came in.  I couldn't think what I should be asking him.  If I had this app, I could have really used this feature to have been able to ask him the right questions.  It would have been right there, in the palm of my hand.  That's a game changer!"

If you aren't familiar with this resource, please hit the treatment resources button and look around at all of the great tools and resources that are housed there.  It's one of our best kept secrets that we need to educate our constituents about.  Now it's easier than ever to access!

Thanks Glenn!

Can I share the YouTube Video to the constituents on our facebook page? Here is what I was thinking:
