Ready for some pie slinging?

Posted by Glenn Callihan on August 29, 2020 3:55 PM EDT

Starting on Sunday August 30th at noon and going through September 4th at midnight, Glenn Callihan will be facing off against Dan Thorpe in a good old pie slinging contest.  $20 is all it takes to have a pie put in eithers face and whoever gets the donation has th potential to get the pie.

Staff shouldn't feel obligated to donate and are mearly getting this news update to help spread to your volunteers.  Since this is a head to head competition, I've upted the ante by offering to stop shaving for a couple of weeks if I go over $2,500 and to fully shave my head if we can get Dan over $2,500.  I've never done either of those before and the combination could be quite scary.  Also, there is now a regional competition to see which region can raise the most money, so that's one additional motivation for us to win!

Our fearless organizer, Joe Gillette (volunteer from NYC), always seems to find a way to have these things tie.  So, I wouldn't be surprised if Dan and I both got the full arsenal of pies.
